An experiment with developing prints in caffenol.
The negative has got pretty high contrast being a 400 iso shot in bright sunlight, and the caffenol seems to somehow take the contrast a bit down again. Printed with a grade 3 filter.
interesting how much the clouds have contrast.... is that more due to the grade 3 filter or the caffenol? as I don't do optical printing (yet) I'm not familiar with all of the possible techniques. Thanks.

No, actually I did a test strip on the people in the foreground and another one on the sky. Then I exposed the whole image for 10 seconds and after that I shielded the lower part of the image with my hand so the sky part got another 10 seconds. I think that's what my digital friends call dodge & burn... As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure the caffenol lowers the contrast in general..
