I did a short blog post on Ronis a couple of years ago. http://tom-overton-images.weebly.co...onis-un-photographe-qui-aimait-son-monde.html He truly was a wonderful photographer. Beyond the technical merit that thousand of hours behind a camera can bring to a photograph, his work is full of an affection for his subjects.

Thanks folks...This was kind of set up i must admit. I had the neighbor kids jump over the puddle several times.I wanted to take the same idea or action of getting through the water obstical only a modern version. Kinda kick ass no messing around tip toeing but flying through with a Nike head band...just do it!!The board represented the ladder in Henri's image.It was all in funSteve

Hmmm, not to be contrary, but I see the influence of Cartier-Bresson in this image.

Yes, me too. I just meant that the setting is different in time, in place, age of participant, etc.
