Another image from my trip to the Bay area. This one is from a roll of Ilford FP4 that I developed in D76. This combo really seams to shine for this exposure.
Thanks everyone. This was the picture I've been wanting to make for a while, but just having had the right conditions and location lined up. The negative is fabulous. I am many years away from printing my own photos unless some very unexpected changes come my way. I have no room or budget for even the most modest of darkrooms and as far as I can tell, Reno/Carson City doesn't have any community darkrooms. I'm wondering if digital printing will do this justice. I guess only one way to find out......BTW, this little state park is really an interesting place. There is a little snack shop and some cool buildings and relics (both people and things) hanging around. The day I was there, a group of locals was hiding under the awning at the cafe shooting the breeze, a local photog was taking some family portraits, and a Ranger was eating lunch. (Boooo to the ranger who made me put away my camera without being able to tell me any policy's or laws I was breaking).
