Nice shot - I love old diners. I was at a Lincoln Diner in PA in the 80's, and it didn't look like this. Maybe they remodeled? It seems the one I was at was covered in metal to look like an old railroad dining car.

Could be- this one still looks sorta like an old railroad car on the inside, but bigger, obviously. Then again, in this area there are LOTS of Lincoln themed things, not only because of the Gettysburg Address, but also Route 30, which runs from Times Square in New York to Lincoln Square in San Francisco and is named the Lincoln Highway. It passes through Gettysburg, as well as my old hometown, Chambersburg, a few miles to the west.

I was there at the wrong time of day - I wasn't anywhere ready to eat, and it didn't seem right to go in and photograph the inside of their diner without buying some food. There's always another time- it's not like I can't pop up there more or less at will. And I only had 100 speed film in the camera - the inside would have been too dark to photograph without a tripod.
