Really well balanced composition. I guess that this place is a kind of Mecca for photographers.

This is so true. Only by reading his notebooks P & Q and then emulating his experiments can you really get a sense of his thoughts and artistic development. Anybody who is passionate about photography should visit Lacock to experience the atmosphere where it all started. A location close to magic.

I agree with Guillaume, a soothing picture. Definitely one to hang on the wall and look at when you're in a bad mood.

...Indeed, perhaps that is why it was used as a location for several scenes in some of the Harry Potter movies...
