Hiking about the pond my daughter found a secret trail that led to this beautiful scene photographed here. This is the 2nd photograph in my series about how children see the world with such different eyes. She always picks weeds and carries them with her as we explore. She is incredibly proud of finding this majestic peninsula (as am I). I haven’t the heart to tell her that the plethora of wild flowers she finds are mere weeds. I'm inspired to see the world how I probably used to when I was young. Thanks for looking! Andy

This reminds me of the poet William Blake's lines: "To see a world in a grain of sand, And a heaven in a wild flower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, And eternity in an hour." Nice picture, and good to see some colour!
