Symbolic and very frightening.
 
To be honest, I don't get it. Technically it shows your quick mastery of wetplate but subject-wise and composition it's a bit of a mystery to me. I hope you take this as respectful and constructive commentary, but that's my take. This stands out for me because normally your stuff is a lot more 'clear' to my eyes.
 
Thanks everyone for commenting... It is a new theme that is emerging, and one that has been in my head for some time. Basically it plays on the emotion of fear, panic, fight/flight, during the moments of intense and potentially life threatening situations that can arise when the limbic system is triggered. The other aspect is about politcal correctness, rarely do you see images made looking at the business end of a gun, as its considered unsafe, forbidden etc.
 
Oh My Goodness! Impressed by the depth of field, I thought it was a pair of opera glasses held by a lady with long blonde hair!! The thought of "gun" simply never occurred to me! (I admit I didn't look at the title, but still...)
