This image has received a 1 stop push having dev'd the original sheet (all in my jobo, so thanks to APUG members for their advice in getting this up and running). The intention being to open out the shadows whilst still retaining some tone in the lightest parts of the sky, which I just managed. My main observation is the mood change that this push has given.
If you haven't seen the darker version (in my portfolio and this gallery), the story goes....It was a bit of a panic to get set up in time and thought I'd missed it, but trusty old steed Velvia 50 worked its wonders again to save me.
Contrast was a bit tricky so I have placed a 0.9 hard grad over the sky and then a 0.9 soft grad down over the water and slipway trying to balance exposure with the leaves and seaweed on the diagonal pole, bottom left.
