Street Laugh; Kathmandu, Nepal (2012)

The only XPan image that I've cropped. Shot this full panoramic format, but there was just too much extraneous stuff on either side, detracting from the real moment here.
But, if I'd shot 'regular' 24x36 format, I would've lost what I needed to include.
Anyway...there you go.

Great photo, Colin. I'm really diggin this stuff you brought back from Nepal.

Thanks very much. It's strange, but when I left there I couldn't wait to get out. But after I got home and thought about everything, I realized I'd love to go back again.

This is a great shot and I like the way the shuttering leads your eye to the guy on the bike and then futher shift of your eye in the same direction shows the guy gesticulating in coversation. A roundabout composition. You didn't need panoramic, stick to 24 x 36mm and keep it simple.
