Forest Stream, Krantzkloof

I'm really struggling to produce acceptabe digital images of my prints for upload. The original has greater contrast, and more visceral tonality - it feels like molten chocolate to me. The digital image is less sharp, and has less tonal depth.

Paper & Developer
Ilford MGIV RC Pearl, Multigrade Developer
Lens Filter
Medium Yellow
Same here, I usually scan negatives because of this. That said, I like this shot a lot. Wish I could see the original.
 
Thanks TOTC. I don't have a neg scanner, so will wait for the next round of a print exchange and use that opportunity to show the originals.
 
Thanks Andy - will check your thread on DPUG, appreciate your pointing me to it. Of course one difference is that this is not a scan - I don't have a scanner - it's a digital photograph of the print!
