well, i have used the fabrico artistico hot press bright white for several years (on and off-- i like other papers for certain types of images, but the fa has a really white base and gives deep pt/pd blacks and works best for most types of images) ....... it used to be a breeze to use right out of the box, but in the last year or two it's required a brief presoak in oxalic acid to remove something in the sizing that was preventing the pt/pd solution from soaking in evenly (and then had to dry and get flattened before use -- a real pain) ....... and then the last batch i got had a problem clearing (i use a hypo-clear for the clearing baths, tho not the kodak brand) ..... on the advice of someone on the forums here i went to citric acid for the first clearing bath, and that seems to have solved that problem ...... so i still use it, but try to do so sparingly because of the hassle of prepping it .....
