why the weird looking pixely gridlike things in his face? I didn't see those when I resized in PS!

Fantastic portrait, Katie! The file size looks very small for am 850x530 so you are probably saving at too low quality jpg. You should be in the range of 500-650 KB for that size.

Hmmm ... some one needs to give me a tutorial on resizing these things. I NEVER get it right. I left it at high quality, just made the long end 900PX. Is that wrong?

very nice portrait, and sharpness- this one just confirms to me how good piece of optics 70-200 really is I don't know if that will be helpful but I use save for web command in PS; seems to be working fine to me

Ha..don't make it more than 850 or it will be automatically resized and this is what you get.

Great portrait. I love photographing my Son, but he moves so quick. Still to a child is not still to an adult.
