Sorry to rain on your parade; I took some New Mexico sunshine with me on this vacation, in a carry-on bag.
 
Hey,,, they almost always schedule a day for summer in August sometime. (I lived there 7 years). Besides,,, that set of gates at SeaTac leads to sunshine and dry at least 6 times a day. (Yakima and Pasce) with Horizon.
