Nice shot. My wife always says that if you are getting a formal portrait or going for an interview, you should wear pearls.....so well done there!

Thanks. My wife did all the styling, so I'll pass on the compliment. She spent the morning getting hair and make-up done and had two outfits ready with different accessories. Her employer asked for 20 photos to choose from and I gave them 15.

May I suggest using a slightly higher angle, ask her to lean forward a bit, and to look straight into the lens?

Yes, I was shooting from a slightly higher angle, but should have gone even higher. I'm mainly used to taking photos of our six and four year olds and they don't quite have the wrinkles we over-40s have.
