Another photograph I took exactly a year ago today. This outbuilding sat in the middle of an open field along very rural Rt 233 in northern Cumberland County, PA. I'm not sure exactly what purpose the building served, maybe something mechanical. I had driven by it a few times in the previous months heading to Colonel Denning State Park. So on a Sunday afternoon my girlfriend and I drove up with bikes on the pickup and rode a small section of 233 by this building. The light was perfect. The building faced west and it was late in the day with crisp blue sky and few small clouds. This is the shot I had envisioned from previous drive by's. The is the Cumberland Valley at it's most northern point, with the Tuscarora mountains beginning in the left background.
