This is strangely compelling, though not something I'm usually interested in.
Seems more of an emotional reaction than a document; evocative and very nicely done.

I'm impressed. The cypress woods on Pt. Lobos do not make for an easily controlled background. The lens was a good choice - the edge swirl seems to fit the sound when the wind is blowing. Definitely an emotional response.

grahamp - thank you very much. It does tend to get rather busy in there with all those spiky branches. Fun place to go at lunch, though

Nice image. I have the same lens but have never tried it out on landscape type of shots. Do you recall about what F-stop this was?

I figured it was probably wide open. I'm going to have to try my eidoscope outdoors also. Hope the shutter box is working well for you.
