Beautiful work, I like the pose the composition and the position of models right foot, the lovely soft focus and soft lighting on her body IMO give this photograph a timeless quality, congratulations well done.
beautifully composed and presented ...love the foot, the scarf, the chair , the only minor is the wrinkles on the background , may be not out of focus enough or may be a bit more space between the model and the background? although, it would probably change the whole dynamics of the light. The black triangle shadow in the lower right corner and the light play on the background over her left shoulder and side create a sublime framing of the form anchoring her strong diagonal
Thank you for the positive responses. I should have mentioned, this was shot in a corner of my living room next to a window, between the furnishings - little room for maneuvering. I frequently get criticized for messy backgrounds. There is a fellow who collects my work that always mentions that fact, although it doesn't prevent him from making the occasional purchase. Anyway, I avoid irons at all costs. You should see my shirts.

I'm sorry I don't agree ilya, the wrinkles in the background IMO add to the old world charm of the image, and make it look more like a vintage photograph.
I will now wade into the debate about the background with my $0.02
The folder/wrinkled left hand side seems slightly at odds with the smoother right side
Both to me are perfectly acceptable - but the contrast in background texture from the left of the model to the right somewhat jars and takes my attention away from the otherwise excellent nude figure
Once again, thanks for all the interesting feedback. It's funny, I made this picture a couple of years ago, and I've never considered the background. Some where I have another picture from the same session. I'll post it. Also in my gallery there is a picture called White Nylon. I believe that was from the same session.
