What camera and lens is this? It's a very distinctive image that caught my eye, even as a small thumbnail image.

Colin, this was taken with a 200mm Rodenstock Imagon wide open (without the diffusion disk) on a 4x5 camera.

Your portraits are so solid Daniel, your images are so soild!!
As I was driving back to Minnesota I swear I saw Zhu shooting along the UP. What a fine person Mr. Zhu is. I was glad I got to meet him.

Steve, both Zhu and Evan were up by Manistique on the way home.. I saw their tripds and Evan's Toyota at the side of the road.

I've never had the opportunity to meet Dr Zhu, yet through this portrait I get the feeling of a serene and happy man. Technically fabulous, and well directed. Love it.
