Is it me or is the train climbing an incline ?

Yes, there is a very gradual incline toward the viewer. I used this area to allow the engine to chuff and produce more steam as it drew closer to my camera position. This is a narrow-gauge, 36-inch, railroad and the smaller engine works pretty hard at this altitude.

Steam has always been "hot" even more so now that there are fewer engine operating.
