Rolled Fence

Well, if this is the best picture you've done lately, you don't have much to worry about. This is good seeing, Shawn.

When I feel the creativity is eluding me I find that just forcing myself to shoot starts to work it out. So Just Shoot!

Sounds wonderful, Shawn, to just have fun. I had a slump like that a couple of years ago, but it comes back when you keep trying.
This picture I find interesting because of the rotation I see. Movement from top left, through the bottom half, sweeping up to the top right and into the center. This gives the eye something to guide it through the picture. Very interesting.

Thomas, yes! I placed the center of the roll in the top left and was attracted to the same movement you describe.

You know what... I know now how it appealed to my senses. It's like an ocean wave breaking, and I love the water... Can you photoshop in a surfer on a board too?
