Misty morning, Rannoch Moor

A rescan of an old tranny - I've finally worked out how to scan my 617's better.

Probably the most photographed tree in Scotland...!

I normally try and avoid 'honeypot' locations like this but this photo was taken at first light en route to Oban in Argyll in November '09 and was an unplanned 'grab-shot'.

I saw the beautiful layers of mist from the road and thought 'why not...?"

This would be a stunning print to view in larger size, on a wall. Very beautiful.
 
Great work here , The single tree to the right makes an excellent punctuation point , And balances the photograph beautifully . Cheers Gary
