Mellow yellow

Mellow yellow

Many people ask me why i don't shoot more B&W than i do , With my style of work many feel a very monochrome type style , My next two posts could have been presented as B&W quite easily but i chose colour for different reasons , The first is obvious , i just felt once the flowers were rendered the natural tone of grey for yellow it just didn't work as well . Gary,

Frankly, black & white wouldn't do your images justice. You are choosing your subjects and color palette very wisely and keeping it simple. The renditions are beautiful, dramatic and yet subtle. There is no confusion or distractions. In my opinion, it is much harder to deliver a successful landscape in color but you are doing it.
