A few weeks ago my girlfriend and I began a search of what remained of local mills. When venturing around what is known as Myer's Mill in the extreme northern part of Adams County we were warmly welcomed by a gentlemen who recently purchased this mill in hopes of 'just keeping the structure standing' as he put it. He had to get going but gladly let us inside to roam around and only asked that we close the door on the way out. It was a soft overcast day, perfect for doing interiors. The millstone immediately grabbed my attention.
