February Guadalupe

February Guadalupe

First shots taken with my recently purchased Ikonta 6 x 6. It's very basic, no rangefinder, no winder, everything is manual. I love having to slow down and think about the photographic process.
Location
In Texas near the New Mexico border.
Equipment Used
Zeiss Ikonta, 3.5 Tessar
Exposure
Between f11 and f8, 1/100
Film & Developer
Ilford 100
Lens Filter
Orange
Lovely quality to your shot. The lighting and detail of your tree is really good.

I think this works because of the cropping of the tree. just gives it a little more than a pic of another tree

I agree with the others, but will add, that the similar directions of the branches and the clouds adds to the dynamic of the image.
Well done - it shows "all manual" isn't nessecarily that hard..

Thanks everybody. This definitely encourages me. I'm learning more about composing pictures here than in all the books I've ever read.
