Hay Mower; Huyser Farm

Not sure about this one Dan, while a fine photo propertly exposed and nice lith print produced, the composition is a problem IMO. The fallen leaves really compete with the hay mower making it difficult to appreciate the shape of it.

Vincent: thank you as always for your critique. While printing this picture I thought that the machine needed to be isolated from the background. I guess I should have photographed it this winter with snow on the ground, although the trees and branches in the background would still have been a problem.

I see a lot of images like this from beginning photographers. I think your were more interested in the subject than the image shows. Early in my photo-career I let subjects call out to me rather than me seeking better subjects out. I agree with the "other Vincent".
