Thanks you guys. This was my first portrait in a long series with an 8 x 10 camera. Until then, I'd only used 8 x 10's for commercial photography. Kate is, if I remember correctly, Ukrainian. I asked her if she was wearing a babushka, she said "No, is do rag."
