There is a simplicity here I like. Perhaps a bit more "punch" in contrast would bring out the strength of the composition, seen in the dynamic diagonal which helps emphasize, at the same time, the homeyness of the scene.
thanks! I'm use to tri-x which has that contrast I like so these all to me looked a bit blah....My processing wasn't the best either so I think I added to the grain...another step in in learning.
Perhaps holding the camera a little lower Jessica to show a little more of her hands and not remove the bottom of her right fingers, this would also bring her head a little lower in the frame to improve the composition I.M.O.. I hope this helps.
this is a really sweet portrait with wonderful character. The copyright is unfortunately very distracting. I understand why it's there but it could be down at the bottom.
thanks! I was having a hard time with the rollei this time with framing and focus...one of those mornings I guess, I don't like cutting fingers off so that did bother me too.
for the copyright, yeah, I learned the hard way by not putting it in there over part of an image once so I try to get it on there, at least the co. paid me a chunk of money for their indiscretion but I always mark since then. Sometimes it kinda seems in the way LOL! I try to lower the opacity so it's not as bad but did these quick.
