Bristle Cone Pine on Carbon.

My second carbon print of this image. The first one went to BPX12.

I was a little too eager on development and agitated too much. The edges started to frill and the film border floated away :p, but I think I like it. :D

I agree - the distressed look of the print goes well with the age and gnarliness of the tree
 
Sly, these trees are purportedly to be nearly 5,000 years old, though the rangers won't tell you which one is the oldest. The elevation to these groves were at 11,100 ft.

Thanks guys for the kind remarks. Accidental aesthetics is always a welcome.
