I had driven past this house a few weeks earlier. It has obviously burnt, scorching the entire roof, and all the siding, revealing the logs and other stick built qualities of the house. The windows and doors were covered by plywood.

This composition was immediate and intuitive to me. The lines and contrast just seemed natural.

I love this geometry and am reminded of Aaron Siskind. The central portion of the frame is creating strong tension. I'm bookmarking this page.
