The Eighth Night

Last night of Hanukkah, just a neg scan for now, but will likely print it up in January on Ilford WT in their WT developer, and a little selenium.

I wanted to share it now, wishing everyone peace during this season of lights!!

The expression is wonderful, as is the photograph. I imagine hand-holding an RZ at 1/30 wasn't quite easy, but you have managed it very well here.

Happy Chanukah!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, delta at 3200 just sings in your hands , his eyes are aglow with the light from the menorah and the reflection is beautiful , was it on a piano? My grandma used to put one out on a piano when time came.

Thank you for this wonderful image .

Beautiful, Suzanne! This really shines.

Wow, amazing 3200! I'll be trying DD-X with it next as HC-110 is quite grainy but it looks like I might need to try some Xtol... all the best for the holidays.

I'm amazed he held still for the shutter of 1/30th, Sanjay, so that was a good bit of luck. Ilya, it's on a glass top table, and hpulley, this is a 6x7cm negative, so the grain is pretty minimal with that kind of real estate, but I used the x-tol at 1:1 for twenty minutes at 24C, with three inversions every minute. I prefer to expose at around 1600, but the light was pretty low! Thanks for the kind comments, everyone.

Suzanne, light is a many splendored word...you captured the wonder of it.
