Very nice composition. At first glance i thought it was too contrasty but the greys are def. there, maybe its the scan that gives it that stark look. The image gives you enough but not too much information to make it boring.
I like the photograph, not so much for the contrast or the technique but for the display of the content. This should be in a book on electrical safety. The exposed wires coming out of the panel just makes me shiver. A professional could count the code violations in this photo. Thanks for posting it. I can see what you are saying, and I like the way you are approaching the subject. If you move in on the subject you will find that abstract straight forward photography can be very rewarding. Good work.
Thanks, guys. Glad it caught your eyes.
No statement, really. I just liked the piece of wall for its variety of shapes.
These cabins are are just weekend and vacation cabins for most here. But i will say I am glad one of my sons is an electrician ...
I like it too but have to ask, how come good enough was good enough in 1940, but it ain't good enough anymore. Romex sheathing is fairly stout stuff. Those electrons will be happy to stay inside. Yashica can sure make nice pictures.
I LIKE this photograph. Shapes indeed! All of them layered and juxtaposed and playing against each other in an arrangement made over the years on the wall and then again in your photograph. Thanks for sharing it.
