Bed head curls (print)

Very well done portrait and lovely expression. Just two things, though. The print looks a little bit too dark on my screen, especially the eyes, but that could be my screen. And, for a child, i would use a more fine grained developer with Delta 3200 (something like DD-X), but that's my personal taste, of course.

Thanks for your comments. I need to try a few more prints at a lighter level, this is actually the lighter of the two I did and I like them both, not sure they scan that well. The 3200 speed I needed for such a low light portrait without flash, 1/160th is . I'll have to try DD-X to see if it reduces the grain though honestly I don't mind the grain here. I'll use Delta 400 for less grain in better light or 100 with flash I guess and post those when I get them done.

Love the grain, if you printed this a bit larger, or just enlarged a section more, then the grain would look even better.

I like the density of this print the best.

Years from now I'm sure she will appreciate just how good a portrait of her it is.

Thanks! Most people seem to prefer the lighter one but I also like my prints darker than seems to be average. Now I just need to redo this one on fiber.
