Great plate Kal.... I am looking into a Vitax.. Not sure on what version I would need for 8x10 or whole plate, but it's likely the closest to a Dallmeyer Patent as I'll ever get!

This is the 16" Andrew. Decided to get it rather than the 13" since it gave much better coverage at 8x10 (even though it means less swirliness ;-)). Awesome lens, but huge. Rgds, K

Yes , it's mugnificent! IT's totaly three dimensional, but the way the imperfections take it to a 4th dimension it makes this image haunting...

Thank you all for the feedback. The imperfections are from veiling from the developer (Developing too long), I think it has potential if I could control it ;-) K
