I feel for you when it comes to not having the time to pursue your passion. I'm so deep in stuff I can't imagin when I will get back in....

Thanks, fellas. I will still be able to print a little bit, mostly to satisfy print orders, and maybe the odd one here or there for myself too, so I won't be totally deprived of the fun part

Shawn - I'm trying Rodinal out. Somehow I'm getting dirty negatives when I use Rodinal. In Xtol my negs are always squeaky clean, free of dust and other contaminants. Don't know why that is, but it is strange!
When I get it right, I love the added texture, though. I may experiment with distilled water, just because I like it so much.

Hmmmm - I've never experienced that problem and have used Rodinal exlusively for the last few years. I have always used distilled water to mix my developer..... Maybe that IS it? Good luck!
