The Pettiness of Neighbours

Reminds me of my visits to Germany in their winter. People shovel the snow from their footpath to within a millimetre of their neighbour's boundary.

Except that when their neighbour is sick, or away, then they clean their neighbour's footpath willingly.

Humans can be funny.

the strange thing is when it snows 3 feet and you have a shovel ... then shovel
someone's car out ( curbside ), or the sidewalk, or someone's steps
and they freak out because you are being "nice" ...
