I pass this grove of old olive trees on the way to the beach. Its a really beautiful area, rough, prickly, rocky with a big old sign stuck in the middle warning "POISON" it has been sprayed with pesticide. I took some 35mm 'sketch' shots one day and returned with the view camera. Unfortunately my lens doesn't have much coverage and I cut the top with the front rise (I'm still getting used to the whole LF/view camera thing). Thus I cropped it square;) I've been working on showing the 'glittery' oscillating light of the olive tree-still need some work on that... Any ideas? I may shoot again in the fall or winter to try different light and sky. Thanks for looking, James
