All of these are interesting Colin, but I particularly like the faces in this shot. Your website is fascinating, reminiscent of John Paskievich's work. ( which in my books is a great compliment)

It's a HUGE compliment! Many thanks for that. It's funny you mention that, because John Paskievich's fantastic book "The North End" is one of my favorites and a big influence on me.
I've always been tending towards this type of photography (reinforced by my job) but it wasn't until I saw that work, among a few others, that I felt a real direction specifically.

The book A Place Not Our Own is on my coffee table. I was working at Main Street Project when John was shooting it, and I knew some of the people , especially the kids. You are lucky to have the opportunity to take these shots. I see them all the time at work( social worker), but can't photograph due to privacy issues. Looking forward to following this project.
