PLA troops, Beijing, (2010)

Some of the 2 million Peoples Liberation Army troops jog about inside the Forbidden City grounds.
I think this was mostly window dressing, to impress tourists and locals. There was no seeming purpose to their run, other than to show strength. Interesting all the same, though.
