After a long day photographing and after some great food, Thomas and I went down to the beach and made two photographs each. Here is one of mine.

Hard to say something original after the wonderful above comments, but I'll try anyway. Love the contrast, which I think is a major element , along with great composition, in making this a stunning image. Keep up the good work.

Wow, your exposure turned out beautiful, Andy!

I'm sure the single malt helped! See this link: Yamazaki, or Kawasaki, as some of us like calling it :smile:
I had some 129 proof bourbon in me. I certainly hope it had a similar effect to your single malt. I won't be able to process my film until a couple of weeks from now, unfortunately. This is very inspirational, though.
 
Thanks for all the kind words.... for whatever reason, the alcohol seemed to help me out!! :smile:.... I will say that another shot I did a few years back, the horizon was at least 15 degrees off and I thought it was bang on!!! Cropping fixed it :smile:
 
very nicely done Andrew .... I thought you Minnesotans drank that kind of fire water to stay warm. Now I know that it was really for inspiration :smile: sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo in that case I'll give'ver a shot.....
