No clear idea what you are up to with this project, but it slightly reminds me of Theo Jansen's beach crawling machines made of PVC pipe and powered by the wind...

That's VERY impressive !

The project is to build a "Merry go round" for the kids of the city, and to do this as volunteers/benevolent. The artist is of course paid for this, he brings all his knowledge, tools, experience. Another person is paid to be the local organizer, to keep things running for the City hall.

I'll try to post regularly on my blog to give an idea of the project and how things are progressing.
