Desecrated

Broken crucifix on dead leaves.
It was my first experience on push processing. The film was exposed at 800 EI and processed on Rodinal, giving me highly contrasted pictures. Some of them were ugly, some were nice. This one is my favorite of the roll.

It's desecrated. You switched the e and a. I've read that HP5+ and Rodinal don't really produce nice results, but this seems OK.

I actually thought it was a deliberate mis-spelling, since a lot of memorials are made of 'artificial stone' (concrete).

The contrast has made some extra work, but you should be able to control it. I do think the left side needs either more space or cropping to remove the gap, but I like the mood anyway.

I've been happy with the results of HP5 and Rodinal. Straight processed, though...no pushing or pulling. Take it for what its worth...I've only done about a half dozen rolls in the stuff...and I'm happy if there are discernable images on the roll when it comes out of the tank!
