This print scan looks remarkably like the original print!

an interesting photo but it looks incredibly washed out on my calibrated monitor... if your darkest blacks in the print match the black edges - and this scan looks similar to the print on your monitor... then you have a serious monitor issue.

For reference your blacks here look dark gray compared to the black text in the "Freestyle" add at the very bottom of this page.

Just looked through your other pictures, the black background in your peace lily neg scan looks fine. this looks even softer than some of your kallitypes, and I would certainly not expect that from G3 Azo and 130, even at 1:2.

Just trying to be helpful, I enjoy the image otherwise.

This is better. BTY, my monitor is an old Sony 100SX. It has never seen any calibration. Thanks again. If you could see the actual photograph...

I've rescanned this image and it looks much better now. Alan
