Bad Motel #2

whaddayou mean bad?!?!? This is the kind of place I look for when I travel!

Really having fun with these. Great series of pictures that make me smile.

This was one of those times when I threw a dart at the map and said aha! I have not been there before! Kemmerer is a resurgent mining town. The three motels were chock full of contract workers, going around the clock. I got a room because some guy just got kicked out when I showed up. The place is three floors facing a solar oven parking lot, no a/c. The workers were on 12 hour shifts, so they arranged it where the south end of the motel was the sleeping side, and the north end was the drinking/fighting/stomping side. My room was on the north end. These were the only pictures from 3 days there (well, a whole contact sheet of "The Producers.")
