Paper Negatives..

I am currently running a three week summer course in photography.
At the same time, there are several other courses here, and I have made a few portraits of the "contenders"..

All made, using paper negative - 24x30cm. Contact copy.
Ilex Paragon 400mm with soft focus dial at 5...

and her little sister "Liv" (life), aged 11, and attending glass making.

Emil, what paper are you using? Filters? I like the soft quality a lot. Is that from the paper neg, or the lens, or both?

Hi Thomas. I use FOMA resin coated paper - no filters, but you can, if you want a softer negative..

The soft quality is - I think - mostly due to the lens used. A huge soft focus lens..

I love to use these plastic papers as negatives. It is quick (almost as quick as polaroid) and easy to use.
