I probably overexposed this by 1 stop but it still worked well on Azo-grade 2. The 48 second exposure was counted out since I didn't have any sort of time piece with me.
This is just stunning, Alex! The space seems abstract, rather flat, like some of your barn door studies, but it also has wonderful depth and a church like atmosphere with the light.
I know you are reffering to the "over exposure" in the blown highlight.... but I think it works well with this image. "correct" exposure would have lost some of that feeling.
Thank you Thomas. This is a traditional American barn which performed many duties, one of which would be functioning as a stable. This one is has been refurbished enough to make it safe (mostly via a new modern roofing material) and is open to the public. The hay lofts have been removed which is why the structure is open from the bottom level to the roof.
