What a nice graphic still life... well seen, well managed, and very creative.

It is indeed, a damn nice image. Would you let us know what scanner you used? This sounds like something I would like to try, but I can't imagine my scanner (Epson 3200) giving this good a result. My wife wants to make such negatives, also, as part of the photogravure process (we already have the Pictorico material.) Thanks.

The scanners is an old Acer Scanprisa 1240UT the software running the scaner is
vuescan it work great with B&W negs with the EW densety aka Bulletprof thin negs dont do as well and forget about chromes but I like to pretend that I know what I am doing , part of the trick is on the printing end tell the printer you are using the best paper that it can handle and give it a go by the way I use an epson CX5400 to print is not a fancy six color machine but it seems to do the trick
Thans for tha kind comments

My monitor show this image as nearly black or dark with very little detail, I can make out the shapes from the highlights, but wish I could view it better. I have a feeling it is a great print of subject matter I love, but just can't see it whit my equipment.
