Well done, although, I hope you tried it with a longer lens too. The underexposure probably helped a log.

I did try last night with a zoom lens 5 sec @ f6.3 300mm ISO 3200 but comet was too dim with the moon so bright to show up much. I suppose the only thing to do in that case is to crank up the ISO.
