As a wee lad I would hunch over Sky and Telescope magazine, marveling at the grainy images of comets captured on ‘gas-hypered 2415 recording film’. I dreamt of the day when I too could afford a hypering tank. Who knew that the iPhone would capsize the film-hypering industry with a single blow?
