Cold, cold, cold

Its cold, very cold. The sun rising over the fjord now almost frozen over. Developed in Caffenol.

A terrific sense of light in this picture! Is this shade of grey/brown typical of a caffenol negative?

I like the image quality you are getting with your Kowa 66 so much I have just spent a bunch of time researching it and looking on ebay. A pretty rare and interesting camera. You are making good use of it, I like your work as well.

Thank you both.

@edward S. Yes and no. The Caffenol process does stain the negatives ever so slightly. If I scan in colour, its evident, but for web use I scan in grayscale, but tone the digital images as close to the original as I can. So yes, this is what it would look like, if scanned in colour.

@ dpurdy. I took care not to include the sun as it broke the horizon, as it flared quite considerably. I did however want to include a smidgen of the glare in the picture. I'm glad you like it, and my other work. The Kowa has made me a better photographer. No doubt about it. It works wonders on my work flow.
