Coal-Fired Power Station, Panographic

On a cold morning I stopped my travel and left the 'autobahn' to take a few photos of the coal-fired power station in Eschweiler, Germany because the light was nice. I cropped the wide image of the KMZ FT-2 a little bit, but decided to keep my shadow within - bottom-right it looks a little bit like a funny signature. And I decided to mirror the image horizontally - so the current is coming out of the power station and going into the power lines from left to right. Since this could be easily done also in an enlarger I hope it is ok here.

Man, I love APX100. You've gotten great tones with the XTOL 1:1 -- very nice composition.

Thanks for the nice comments! Finally I think some more cropping on the bottom - loosing my shadow - would possibly improve the image, in particular if I look at it in a larger version. The panoramic effect is weakened then, but the image looks more technically-objective - like industrial photography of about 1950, which I like.

A fine photograph with nice tonal range. I especially like the panoramaformat in this case. Thanks for sharing.
